What We Believe

We are committed to:

 

l. Loving God (Three in One) and People:
We love the Lord our God with all that we are, and we love others as we love
ourselves. (Mark 12:28-31, Colossians 3:12-14)

 

2. Trusting in Jesus as our Lord and Savior:
We serve a risen Savior who has given us life and made a way for us to stand
blameless before the Father. (I Corinthians 15:3-4, John 14:1-3)

 

3. Acknowledging the Holy Spirit:
When we choose to obey our Father and follow Him, He places His Spirit in our
hearts. (Acts 2:38-39, John 14:25-27, Galatians 5:16

 

4. Honoring God’s Word:
We honor the Word of God. In His Word, we have the very truth of God. Through
the Word, we learn about God, we know the power of His Spirit, we learn how our Father
wants us to live and we learn the truth of the resurrected Savior. (II Timothy 3:16-17,
Psalm 119:105)

 

5. Marriage as ordained by God:
We believe as the Bible states that the unity of marriage is between one genetically
born man and one genetically born woman in a lifelong covenant. Eph. 5:31, Gen. 2:23-24

 

6. Bearing fruit.
God’s act of grace will cause our lives to change. When we do not hinder His Spirit,
God will bear fruit in our lives. (Colossians 1:10, Galatians 5:22-26)

 

7. Seek the lost.
When we comprehend the magnitude of what we have been given, we will share the
Good News to a world that needs salvation in Christ. (Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 2:42-47)

8. Pray for the sick.

We believe that God’s power will enable us to do what Jesus did. (John 14:12-14,
James 5:13-16, Mark 16:16-18)
